Menteri Muda Penyelidi-kan Sains dan Bioteknologi Dr Annuar Rapaee berkata, antara program itu Pinjaman Pelajaran Dalam Negara, Pinjaman Luar Negara, Pinjaman Latihan Teknikal, Biasiswa Tempatan, Biasiswa Yayasan Sarawak Tun Taib dan Bantuan Pendahuluan Pelajaran dan Teknikal melibatkan peruntukan sebanyak RM32 juta setahun.

Helping to expand, rebuild schools

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is looking to help Chung Hua Middle School No. 4 move to a new location by allocating them a new piece of land.

Ensure school uniform vouchers not abused - Tasik Biru rep

BAU: Principals and headmasters of schools in Tasik Biru area are urged to monitor the recipients of school uniform vouchers distributed by Yayasan Sarawak.

In making the call, Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep said this was necessary to ensure that the vouchers are not abused by the parents to buy other items.

Sarawak explores possible research synergies with University of Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom: The Sarawak state government is exploring possible synergies in carrying out biomedical research between state research agencies and the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Yayasan Sarawak gets RM4 mln for uniforms of needy students

KUCHING: The state government this year has approved a total of RM4 million to Yayasan Sarawak to distribute vouchers to needy students for the purchase of school uniforms.

`Lab session to discuss means to deal with dilapidated schools in Sarawak` - Manyin

TEBEDU: A lab session will be held this week to discuss matters concerning dilapidated schools across the state, including the costing and actions to be taken.

According to Education, Science and Technological Research Minister Dato Sri Michael Manyin, the lab serves as a platform for them to identify the schools for repair works beginning next year.
