Loan Repayment

• To reward students who achieve academic excellence.

• Borrowers’ are eligible to apply for incentives based on consistency in repayment and subject to the terms and conditions as follows:
  
  
  • Skim Pinjaman Pelajaran (dalam negara)
    • 75% incentive: CGPA 3.50 & above
    • 50% incentive: CGPA 3.00 – 3.49 OR Medical students who successfully complete their studies OR Postgraduate research students who successfully complete their studies
  • Skim Pinjaman Pelajaran (luar negara)
    
    • 25% incentive: Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honours OR Medical students who successfully completed their studies
  • Skim Pinjaman Latihan Teknikal (PTK)
    • 50% incentive to students who successfully completed their studies
  • Skim Biasiswa Pinjaman Foundation in Engineering
    • 50% incentive to students who successfully completed their studies and continue pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (for Bumiputra students only)
  • Skim Pinjaman Program Penerbangan
    
    • 25% incentive to students who successfully completed their studies

• Lump Sum Loan Payment
  • 25% of the outstanding balances subject to completion of their studies
  • Within the repayment period

* Borrowers’ are to submit written application and emailed to ys@yayasansarawak.org.my OR faxed to 082-440023 OR sent to:

and provide the Repayment Section with a copy of their Graduation Certificate and Academic Transcript for reference.

* Yayasan Sarawak has the right to withdraw incentive given if payment is not made within scheduled period.
* Borrowers’ are to pay lump sum if studies are not completed.
* A Loan Scheme is eligible to receive ONE Repayment Incentive only.

• Please note that Yayasan Sarawak and HIED are two DIFFERENT ENTITY with two DIFFERENT BANK ACCOUNT number. HiED borrowers are REMINDED not to make payment to Yayasan Sarawak’s account.

• Cash payment over the Repayment counter at Level 1, Yayasan Sarawak, Wisma Adenan, Jalan Sultan Tengah, Kuching (please inform the counter staffs that you are a HiED borrower);
• Cheque/Bank Draft/Postal Money Order under the name “SARAWAK HIGHER EDUCATION FUND CHARITABLE TRUST”.  Direct Payment via Post Office is only available borrowers directly sponsored by YAYASAN SARAWAK.  For borrowers sponsored under HiED, borrowers must purchase Postal Money Order;
• Banking Standing Instruction OR Internet Banking (Open Transfer to 3rd Party Account) to HiED Account at RHB Bank, Account Number 2-11212-0000855-5. Supporting documents/proof of payment must be submitted to HiED Secretariat every time IBG/IBK was done. Please state clearly borrower’s name and Identification Card number on the slip and then either fax to 082-440023 or direct email (in pdf file format) to nola@yayasansarawak.org.my;
• Payment via paybillsmalaysia.com under Billers YAYASAN SARAWAK and choose SARAWAK HIGHER EDUCATION FUND LOAN (HiED) for borrowers sponsored under HiED.
• Salary deduction (allotment) via own employer; AND
• EPF Account 2 withdrawal (for borrowers taking Diploma and above only).

Please noted as well that since May 2018, payment via Cash Deposit Machine at any RHB Bank branch is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you had made payment using such method before, we are not responsible for any such payment done unless you are able to provide copy of payment slip for our checking and issuance of official record.
