Objectives
    • Provide loan scholarships to students who are eligible to continue their studies in the country at higher education institutions as follows:
      1. Government University (IPTA) admission through the University Registration Unit (UPU).
      2. IPTS owned by the Sarawak Government:
        1. Curtin University Malaysia, Miri.
        2. Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Kuching.
        3. University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), Sibu.
        4. Kolej Laila Taib (KLT), Sibu.
        5. i-CATS University College (i-CATS), Kuching.
Requirements
    • Sarawakian (at least one of the parents is a Sarawakian).
    • Malaysian citizen.
    • Age not exceeding:
      1. 45 years for Bachelor’s degree studies.
      2. 50 years for Master’s and PhD studies.
    • Pursuing full-time studies and NOT through Distance Learning (DL) mode.
    • Has no other sponsorship.
    • It is mandatory to obtain a credit in the Bahasa Melayu subject in the SPM examination or an equivalent examination as follows:
      1. Obtained at least a Grade C for the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM).
      2. Obtained at least a Grade C for the General Certificate of Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level).
      3. Obtained at least a Grade B6 for the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC).
    • Two (2) guarantors who have a permanent job and age not exceeding 60 years.
    • Loan repayment starts 12 months after graduation.
    Assistance
      • The first payment will be issued upon receipt of the completed agreement documents.
      • The next payment will be issued upon receipt of a copy of the complete examination results.
      Application
      Objective
        • Providing loans to eligible students, to finance part of the cost of studying abroad.
      Requirements
        • Sarawakian (at least one of the parents is a Sarawakian).
        • Malaysian citizen.
        • Priority is given to courses that are not available in the country.
        • Courses and universities are recognized by the Malaysian Government through the Public Service Department (JPA).
        • It is mandatory to obtain a credit in the Bahasa Melayu subject in the SPM examination or an equivalent examination as follows:
          1. Obtained at least a Grade C for the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM).
          2. Obtained at least a Grade C for the General Certificate of Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level).
          3. Obtained at least a Grade B6 for the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC).
        • Submit property collateral and two (2) guarantors.
        • Does not have a sponsor.
        • Loan repayment begins six (6) months after graduation.
        Assistance
          • The approved loan rate is subject to tuition fees.
          • Limited to a maximum of RM100,000.00 per year and RM400,000.00 for the entire study period of 4 years and above.
        Application
        Objective
          • Providing scholarships loan to Sarawakian who are interested in following a technical course at any Local Skills / Technical Training institution under the Sarawak Foundation panel.
        Requirements
          • Sarawakian (at least one of the parents is a Sarawakian).
          • Malaysian citizens.
          • Aged 16 years to 30 years.
          • Interested in full-time training.
          • Priority for trainees who do not have the opportunity or fail to continue their studies at a higher education center.
          • Loan repayment begins six (6) months after the end of the training.
          Assistance
            • Funding training / course fees throughout the study period with a maximum of RM10,000 per year.
